2019 was a good year for me, I had the chance to visit Europe for the first time in my life with a few of my travel loving friends. We visited cute little towns with german inspired architecture, jaw-dropping cathedrals, coastal towns, and we even visited a few islands for day trips. My absolute favorite from the trip, was definitely Mont-Saint Michel. This location is an incredibly small island for about half of each day as the tide goes in and out. The cobblestone streets have shops crowded in on either side, and as it spirals upwards to the top of the hill, you will find a peaceful old abbey that has lived through multiple lifetimes and uses. We stayed at the little hotel located in the small city, which allowed us to stay up late enough to take our tripods out and wait as dusk rolled in.
