VERY BEAUTIFUL...

Artist Reply: Thank you, Maria! I wrote a prose poem to go with it... Xanadu0 Far off, farther than the business of humanity. Unmeasurable, incommensurable. Right angles further than where or when. Quiet. Energetic contrails fall away in a construct Entropically impossible, intrusive, and now invisible. The Anti-geometry of where or when. Who will conduct the post-mortem? Who will pay the fee? Who will greet the guests? Who will guard the bodies and prevent the decay of where or when? What will be done while the rioting snares the living who crawl on The edge of the crowd to their safe retreat? Gone from memory In the ashes of where and when. A seed shatters hard concrete and multiplies in the yellow haze Of dandelions unfettered flight. A cleansing rain. Then sunshine. From the ashes of where and when. srs 2020
