I'm guessing you used some cool computer filters on a photo, but you did a very good job, however you did it. You retained enough of the needed facial features and characteristics while taking away any real answer as to whether it really was a photo, in the first place, or not - no one really needs to know. Your coloring is very nice, too. Well done.
