Every single item here on this wall and in this curio cabinet has a special memory !Fans from places in China , barometer 1892 & button accordion my mothers fathers came from England ,soft toys my daughter made when she was learning to sew ,black iron sand from Piha beach new Zealand shells from beach's all round the coastal beach's of the north island nz !and the list goes on & on !All and every thing has a special memory of its own for my wife and my self lest we never forget !

Truly a beautiful collection of memories reaching to the ceiling. Round shelving complements round shapes in room.

Artist Reply: Yes when we bought the apartment we needed a place to store and display bit of all sorts we had collected and during a furnature sale i spotted this curio cabinet ! Its auerthentic Chinese and is make in two halves and can fit each side of a doorway but i prefer it complete !The fans are local and the wax paper umbereler i had from a place we visited ! and the grass cone shaped hat same i had two but gave the other one to a friend in New Zealand Its real not a orniment and had a proper frame inside
