The Gift

This is one example of a portrait I did for an Equine rescue. The story behind this Portrait is really sweet.... the lil girl in this, saved up her allowance for three months to be able to sponsor a horse at the White Bird Appaloussa Rescue. The original photograph was taken the day she proudly came out the the rescue to give her donation. I love this story because it truely shows that one person can make a differance no matter how old or how much you have to give! The rescue was able to action this Original, to raise funds to support thier rescue.

Christine I never saw this one!! Awesome pencil work girl!!! Love the contrasting mane against the dark textured coat. The expression on the girl's face is wonderful!

Very cute!! Did you do stippling for the spots? Very nice detail. The girl could use a little work though. Her face seems a little lopsided.
