Full story pending, but something along the lines of Etosk, rather than being an ally for Kathra's son and daughter in the previous version of my story, is Otheis' protegee, and when Dalia, protecting Kathra from Saal'Ku and Otheis, ripped off Otheis' arm with her coil, Otheis returned to Haea beaten and near death. Etosk decides to avenge his master upon those he holds responsible, namely Kathra and Dalia. However, as Dalia is currently in the employ the Dromi on Xarsil, he targets Kathra. Strong possibility I'm going to tie in this story with the Maternal Natures storyline consisting of Urial Khral trying to get Kathra and her infant son Aryn killed in payment for the death of her son Reylan at Kathra's hands years ago. Kathra didn't actually kill Reylan, Saal'Ku did, but no one else was there, and though Dromi Ahreis released Kathra from her blood debt, his grieving wife did not. Considering this is waaaaay more story than I've actually provided in reference to a picture here, I'm sure not much of it really makes sense, but trust me, there's an enormous story behind this.
