In spring the seeds of these maple trees turn red or pink, depending on how the light hits them. Daingerfield State Park is heavily wooded and quite hilly, lying in northeast Texas.

EXQUISITE CAPTURE, BRENDA !! SPRING HAS SPRUNG HERE BUT WE ARE EXPECTING SOME POLAR AIR IN THE COMING DAYS AND I DO HOPE IT WILL NOT DESTROY ALL THE NEW BUDS, LEAVES AND FLOWERS AS WE MAY HAVE SOME SNOW !!!
