This is the fourth in a series of colored pencil "rain" pieces that focus on how viewing an image through a rain streaked window alters how distinctly that image is perceived. This rendering is based on a photograph that I took of down town Cedar Rapids, Iowa on a rainy evening as viewed from the terrace of the CRST World Headquarters building. The piece is entitled "Rainy Night", and may be best viewed from a moderate distance. This also applies to viewing it on line. This piece was done on museum quality Grafix drafting film using Farber-Castell Polychromos pencils. The size of the artwork is 11 X 14 inches.
