Tamsin: how very beautifully done. The image simply pops from the black paper. I too do realism in colored pencil, but I work on museum quality Grafix drafting film. If you have time, please stop by and check out some of my recent posts. Best regards, Will

Artist Reply: Hi Will, thank you so much for your comment. I love monochrome work so white on black is great for the added drama and heightened contrasts. Your work is excellent, I always enjoy browsing your portfolio. I have not tried working on drafting film, what would you say the difference/benefits are of that versus paper?
