Original Oil Pastel #24 is done on a recycled oval matte board. It measures 5" x6". After I did a sunset on the ocean just to see how the pastels would work and several abstracts, I did this moonlit mountain scene. Here where I live is so beautiful and inspiring that I love to do moonlit landscapes. With all the lakes, rivers, creeks, and ponds it is fun painting these night scenes with the light of the moon reflecting in them. It is signed on the front, numbered, signed, and dated on the back. The TN means that it was done in Tennessee, USA. Well I did have 3 boxes of oil pastels which I was going to use up doing landscapes, abstracts, and flowers, but an artist friend of mine decided I was doing such wonderful paintings with them that she got me 2 more boxes of oil pastels, one is of metallic and the other is fluorescent (great for under a black light). I am still numbering the paintings to see how many paintings I get out of them. Once I run out of these oil pastels I will not be doing anymore of this type of oil pastels. So these will still be a limited edition. The limit to the edition will be how many I do. There is a watermark on image so as to prevent copying and printing it from the internet, the painting will come without watermark on it. Item will come in acid-free protective bag between 2 pieces of cardboard and shipped in a padded envelope. Thanks for taking a peep at my artwork!!! Have a nice day!!!
