When my wife traveled around some years before I went to Mongolia, they were accompanied by a guide, which the family calls “Son-in-law”. Here he is crossing a small river on a motorcycle. I like the way this picture shows the mix between the traditional in his clothes called a ‘Deel’ (pronounced more like dell) and the modern motorcycle, instead of the old way of doing it by horse. Also I like the way the water moved and the excitement you can scarcely see in his face, even though you can only see him from the side.
