A scratchboard piece of a zebra's eye ... God it takes forever to do .... Basically Stippling and small scratches to get the effect.

forever is an understatement some times. this is beautiful. you'd honestly think a zebra would be a simple thing to do in scratchboard but those stripes just keep spinning ot of control. your detail work is great. i've got a few photos that i'm hashing through to do a close up and this one is definitely inspiring me to get back to the ol' drawing(oops, scratching) board. what brand of board do you use?

John, I'm impressed. I love scratchboard... and I know much time and effort it takes. This is an amazing piece. Mind boggling. Thanks for including the zoomed in view. AMAZINGLY well done! Keep it up! :)
