Our lives are so busy that we need to take time to smell the flowers. This is a scene that is on our mantle and it made a nice little painting. 5 X 7 inches on Dura-lar film using Prismacolor Verithin pencils. Take time to look around you!

Your work is so peaceful Will...and yes, I feel the serenity!

Artist Reply: Sharon: thank you once again for a lovely comment. We must think alike regarding art. Your photographs are just amazing. Best regards, Will

What a wonderful composition!

Artist Reply: Anneke: thank you so much. Your comment is very much appreciated. The composition is very good, but I did not set it up this way. The credit goes to my wife. Sue placed the items for a summer mantle decoration, and it must have been over a month before I realized what a potentially good painting this would make. I'm glad you appreciate Sue's arrangement. Best regards, Will

Simply superb! I love it so much.

Artist Reply: Carliss: thanks so much for your comments. I appreciate them very much. My wife, Sue, is responsible for placing the items in this summer mantle decoration. I simply turned it into a piece that others could also enjoy. It took me way too long to realize how good the arrangement was. I'm glad that it spoke to you in a shorter period of time. Best regards, Will

Great composition!

Artist Reply: Heloisa: thank you so much. I can thank my wife for the composition. She set this up on our mantle just this way. It took me way to long to notice what a great still life painting it would make. Thank you for appreciating both the painting and my wife. Hope your weekend has been good. Best regards, Will
