Hope

16x20" Pencil on bristol Original and prints are available on this one. Please visit my website for details @ www.artofmichelle.com I did this fairly light and it doesn't quite show all the detail onscreen as it does in the original or in prints but I hope it still looks ok. Inspired by the Emily Dickinson poem .... "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul - and sings the tunes without the words - and never stops at all." Pencil works sometimes create a better impact than coloured one's. This one such extraordinary work simple but great.

This is a wonderful pencil work and the subject matter and the details are very good. There is not a camera made that can do justice to art work other then an eye in person. Really like this.
