Half Dome as viewed from Olmsted Point in the Back Country of Yosemite Natl. Park California. It is late in the day and the sun is starting to set. Half Dome is Solid Granite and use to be a full Dome but was sheered in half by a Glacier back in the Ice Age. Half Dome is the most famous Icon of Yosemite and it rises about 4000 feet above the Valley Floor.
