This is a mini color pencil painting of a beautiful resturant located in historic Galena, Illinois. It is done with Prismacolor Verithin pencils and the substrate used is a high performance polyester film that allows color to be applied to both surfaces. The dimensions of this piece are 5 1/4 X 4 inches.

Hi Will, thanks for lovely comments. Your work is fabulous. This one in particular, as you have achieved fantastic contrast, and window reflections makes me want to visit, some day. I have never worked with polyester film, will have to give it a try. I belong to Colored Pencil Magazine( american) as they do a monthly art competition, makes me draw out of my comfort zone, I like the Challenge. In reply to you question to Kurt, Reduce 5mb on Adobe photoshop, image - image size make width 750 when saving work max 10. Lovely to meet you too. Mary-Anne

Artist Reply: Mary-Anne: thank you so much. I greatly appreciate your comments. I think that Galena, Illinois is rich with images that make wonderful paintings. I do enjoy doing reflections in windows. This expands the image shown in the painting to what the viewer would actually see if they were there in person. Have a great weekend. Best regards, Will
