One of a Kind

This piece is titled "One of a Kind" and is part of a new series called "Small But Powerful" which consists of small paintings made up of rich, vibrant colors. It can hang by itself or with other works from this group. This one is created on a 6 x 6" wood panel with a 1.5" cradle that is finished and ready to hang. It is an encaustic painting with many layers of encaustic medium collaged with tissue paper, words, embellishments and flower shaped buttons. I love the rich, vibrant colors of the piece and how it makes me smile every time I look at it.
