Not only is this Goldenrod vs Ragweed, it is the latter that causes allergies. The former is not wind pollinated and thus does not produce enough pollen to cause allergies. Unfortunately, this is an all too common misconception.

this isn't ragweed, it's called goldenrod of the aster family.
