I've got quite an abundance of antagonists through my story. Saal'Ku, Ahreis Khral, Daera, Erathyl, and many more. But of all the villians up to this point in the story, this guy's the baddest. His name is Zartran and he single-handedly (literally) beats the living heck out of Daera (who had very nearly killed most of the main characters by herself several months prior). A mysterious force at first, he attracts the attention of just about every protagonist in my story by nearly assassinating Kathra Noor and putting her into a coma. But, with nearly indestructable anaji armor, access to the psyscoria, and quite a lot of knowledge about the tanu, he not only manages to evade capture or vengeance, but furthur imposes himself upon the heroes by launching a one-man assault on Karos and killing the Dromi of the Dro'Xaren Ephex, the most powerful and influential person in known civilization, Ahreis Khral, former adversary of Kathra and friends. Here is shown Zartran after he has killed Ahreis, the only person witness to it is a beaten and bloodied Dalia, the Dromi's former blademaiden, helpless to stop the invincible assassin.
