the portraits are well done but the background might be a tad busy. I think however, I know what you were going for with the rural feel of the painting. Very good sometimes we need to take risks (some pay off some don't....this one did)

Good painting...A little "square" for me. I also feel an inconsistancy between the faces. The boy is more realistic where the girl looks more cartoonish.
