There is a little girl in this painting picking poppies. I remember doing this as a 4 year old and dreaming of two black horses I would one day own. I did not realise at the time that a) I would be too broke to do it and b) I would be allergic to horses - bummer eh? But a girl can dream... Frame is a wide copper burnished frame - 3 inches thick - looks fantastic
