GMC Trucks At Reverend Recoil's Gun Shop

Here's my latest painting: It's a trio of GMC Pickup trucks (1980 GMC 1500 on the left, 1974 GMC C/K Stepside in the middle, and a 1983 GMC Sonoma on the right). These trucks are sitting outside of an aging WW2 Era quonset hut that has since then been turned into a fictional surplus/military store called 'Reverend Recoil's". I've decided to situate somewhere on the outskirts of Tuscon Arizona in the year 1983, because of the city's military background, and as well as a way to emphasize the turmoil of a possible nuclear war with Russia that was present in the early 80s. These style of surplus stores in the late cold war era were scattered far and wide in nearly every small town... Especially in the desert states. All 3 of these trucks were very commonly driven around these small town locales as well, and I couldn't think of a better place to up them than in front of a run down Arizona surplus store capitalizing on the fear generated by the USSR at the time. If you look at the signs on the building, it helps re-enforce the era in which this painting is set. Anyway, all Fast Lane Design Artwork by Ryan Sardchuk.
