The creation of “Bubbles” marked the first time I used metallic ink for accents in my work. The bubbles, which originally were formed by pouring tar gel in circular patterns, had initially been painted pink. I felt that they needed the metallic touch that the silver paint would add. “Bubbles” is all about fun. It would be a delightful, whimsical addition to a little girl’s room, or a dressing room.
