"Mother and Daughter" is a painting of my dear and precious best friend in Florida, Christina and her beautiful daughter Isabella. I wanted to show the protection of mothers over their daughters when facing the rough waters of life. In that protection there is a warm and loving light that emanates from the figures. Beyond the turbulent waters and over the horizon is a golden sunset holding the promise of safe and happy days ahead.

Touching. I hear her sage voice answer he daughter’s eternal question of “Who will I become?”. “Resist distraction. Don’t sell out to merely fun and games. Find your purpose in life. Fearlessly Awaken to it. Let it in. It will spin every atom in your soul. Be consumed with passion’s energy for YOUR truth. It burns an eternal brand in your heart.
