This is my new dog Nakita. She loves wildlife, and stops on walks to watch the herons and egrets majestically fly overhead. She's exremely gentle for an Akita and would not harm a thing. I adopted her from The Akita Rescue of Florida in Jacksonville, FL. Her last owner had died and she stood over him barking for 4 days begging for help. Her owner before that was put into a nursing home, so at last she has her own home. The painting is in oil on canvas and measures 20" x 24"
