Those of you who know me, know that I am obsessed with nautilus shells! I collect them as well as fossil ammonites. I have several "tiger nautilus" shells and wanted to do a portrait with one - accenting it with the Tiger Lily flower (since I like the sound of both having the word "tiger" in them). A beautiful, slightly sad looking girl. This piece debuted and sold at the Celebration Spring Art Festival in 2012. This is my own original acrylic painting. My original acrylic painting.
