Love these shots of old homes. I always find myself wondering who might have lived there when it was new. The History of it must be so interesting.

  Beautifully captured, Loyd.. Marvelous unique...
Artist Reply:   Nira, thank you so much for the excellent comment, it is truly appreciated always. I saw this one as I went down the road and had to stop and see it, then decided to shoot it in B&W for a more dramatic effect. It looks as if it were a lovely home at one time and probably could be again for someone that would and could take care of it.

LOOKS LIKE IT WAS A BEAUTY AND THESE ARE FABULOUS SHOTS IN BLACK & WHITE, LOYD.
Artist Reply:   Sharon, thank you so much for the excellent comment, it is truly appreciated always. I have to agree, it does look as it at one time it was a beautiful place to live and a gorgeous yard with it. I saw this one and it just looked so forlorn and had to shoot it in B&W to give it that dramatic effect. It would be a nice place for someone who would take care of it I am sure.

it is a shame that so many of these old houses are being left to rot; another good find!
Artist Reply:   Brenda, thank you so much for the excellent comment, it is truly appreciated. I have to agree with you there seem to be a lot of them anymore and some of them would make a good home for people that would take care of it. I thought this one just looked so sad and forlorn and decided to do it in B&W for a more dramatic effect. I do have a set in color that I will post.

What a shame !!! But what a wonderful photo it makes.. Joanie
Artist Reply:   Joanie, thank you so much for the excellent comment, it is truly appreciated always. It truly is a shame that there seem to be so many of these anymore here in this country as this would make a nice house for someone that would take care of it. I did this one in B&W for the more dramatic effect, but do have a set in color that I will post also.
