Artist comment: "I love roses. I love to paint them with their subtleties of tones. Here I chose Arches 140# hot-pressed watercolor paper for the substrate. I painted the background in cool tones to punch up the hot pink of the blooms. I finished by adding dew drops on the edges and outer petals of the flowers and on the leaves!"
