This is another piece from what I call the primary introspection series. The series is based on the concept of looking inward to understand oneself. What I find interesting about this series is the apparent paradox of the use of bright somewhat upbeat colors to represent a very sad emotion. In other words, the expression is meant to illustrate the happy place that can be found in a sad commentary.
