Boxing - Gipsy Trollman

Due to some reactions I have recieved about this piece, I must point out the following: The boxing match that this poster is for, really took place in 1933. The reigning German champion was Johan (Gipsy) Trollman, but the title was taken away due to his gipsy roots, and given to the Nazi favorite - Adolff Witt.

Trollmann was no reigning champion neither the 19-year-old Witt. Trollmann was german champion for eight days. After he was stripped Witt did not get the title automatically. He won it later against somebody else. By that time Trollmann had lost in a controversal fight for the welterweight crown against Gustav Eder. Trollmann - who was taller and heavier than his opponent- was not allowed to use his reach advantage or he would loose his licence. He lost the fight because of not being allowed to use his normal tactics. After that he got only meaningless fights against light-heavyweights and lost his licence6 months after the fight with Eder. Please correct this! Thank you.

Adolf Witt was a boxer. Adolf Hitler was a Nazi and criminal. Did you know that Witt was a Nazi? Do you have sources? Or is every german who lived back then a nazi for you? The fight happened actually only a few month after the NSdAP took over and in 1932 (Germany was still democratic) Trollmann and Witt had already two fights (one draw, one victory for Witt). Witt was - like Trollmann - then just a boxer. Because of that the image above makes no sence. Stop all your simplification and instrumentalisation if you want that people should take you serious. That image is childish.

Well, I dont' consider this image is deliberately offensive. Perhaps only inappropriate. Sorry. Some Israeli people -AW artists too- could feel hurt. Holocaust was a terrible crime we'll never forget. Yes, in your place, I'll delete this image. Because, although your right to free speech, this picture looks like a propagand poster. I'm sure you'll be elegant enough to do this. As a matter of fact, I recently deleted all my nudes (artistic) on my portfolio because some people were disturbed by them. All the best, my friend. Hugs!.

You do realize that the swastika has the reputation as a symbol of hate (thanks to hitler), don't you. I realize the connection (Adolf Witt - Adolf Hitler) and it's boxing (hence the arms), but some may find this image offensive.
