© David Abse 2011 New painting, representational this time, not abstract (like this wasn't obvious). From a sketch I did in a café of two people in intense conversation. I have tried to make this darker in tone and atmosphere, and deliberately stylize the face of the main character. I don't know. I have spent too long looking at this for the past week or so. It is my standard spray paint and acrylic, 1 metre square, if you're interested.
