The drawing and calligraphy taken separately are very good. Very good- dramatic, pleasing, and eye-catching. But in my opinion, it is a bit hard to make out the words because they are "tangled" with the art. My suggestion would be to either have the calligraphy on either side/below the drawing, or incorporate it as an integral part of the vine and leaf pattern, maybe as if the words were growing on the vines. That way, the logo is easier to read and neither detracts from how good they both are.
Artist Reply: Thank you Christine. The original drawing is just the owl and filigree, the words were added later with a computer program. I was using this design on my business card, but stopped because it is hard to read the words. Thank you ^_^
