I have just completed several commission pet portraits and felt that i wanted to paint some animals of my choosing. I first painted 'Just floating around' and now I found myself with a whole Sunday afternoon to myself so I painted this painting of an Elephant by moonlight. I found a reference photo that I have wanted to paint for some while, I adjusted my rendition to create 'Elephant by Moonlight' Pastel on velour card, 71/4" x 11"
