Artist Comments: "I grew roses in my garden in Olympia. One of my favorites is this beautiful red rose. Not only was it lush and prolific, but exuded a fabulous fragrance that drifted on the slightest breeze. It was a natural to paint with watercolor as the delicate petals seem to be almost transparent amongst the green leaves."
