Artist Comments: "My rose garden in Olympia, Washington was my pride and joy. Of all the roses, this one was the handsomist, most prolific, and longest lasting bloomer. It was disease and pest resistant. The color was vibrant. I had to paint it, and watercolor on Arches 140# hot-pressed watercolor paper was my choice. I washed in the background in yellows, blues, purple, and green, letting it dry before meticulously rendering the leaves, and finally the bud and blossom."

Edition length is 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs). Prints on paper are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are shrink wrapped on fome board.
