Its more to this painting than what most people think. The eyes are full with fire and love but most people when they see a gargoyle fear comes to mind. It has one of my personal poetry/poem that reads "Que ves cuando miras a mis ojos? O solo miras mi exterior? Porque en mi corazon traigo dolor, odio, pena y sufrimiento" What do you see when you look into my eyes? Or do you only look at my exterior? For in my heart I bring pain, hate, pity and suffering. This is a self reflection on life.
