Blown Glass Sterling Necklace Caught in Bloom

Hand blown glass cabochon was created on an oxygen/propane torch. The borosillicate colored glass was melted deep into clear glass for a wonderful display of depth and color. A fiery off red hued glass dominates the center, it slowly transitions to shades of purple and fuschia that surround the red center. The floral pattern focal point has great depth that is even more amazing in person. This glass cabochon was then attached to a silver tone metal setting and hung from an 18 inch sterling silver chain for a classy look of mixed media. The glass cabochon measures 1 inch x 1 inch from top to bottom the set pendant is 1 3/4 inch. All my glass is annealed for long shelf life!
