This 32" X 40 " double portrait was done for a Aunt that had just lost Micheal her nephew to a drunken driver on the same highway he found Kala's Mother killed and a near death newborn pup he named Kala. Micheal stood six foot four, as you can see that Kala has his paws on Micheal's shoulders. The back ground scenery is a 250 acre wolf haven in the Santa Barbara mountains. A wealthy couple own the haven and made it into a fenced in area that the wolfs would be protected from humans other than though that loved and showed that love to the few. The Family knew Micheal and Kala well, and had the two over rather often, they own four wolfs them self.
