Thanksgiving Holiday Snow

It's a bird, it's a turkey...where's the carving knife! Green bean casserol, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, black olives, turnip and rhubarb, plates utensils napkins, plenty of chairs and a really big table, with a traditional holiday cloth, all the beverages, sodas, milk, egg-nog and brandy...holiday background music playing softly...and I think that's it! Oh wait I almost forgot! All your family relatives and friends and mothers and fathers, and sons and daughters, sisters and brothers, grandfathers and grandmothers, aunts and uncles and cousins and of course the family dog and cat! Games for the kids to play to keep them entertained while the adults talk and tell stories of their year since last...and then there's me. I used to have all of that, but the last of it ended this year when my mom passed away in May, so I have only the memories of what used to be the greatest time of the year, but as it has been said, 'All Good Things Come To An End' and now there's just me... ....as usual, just my thoughts. ....John M. *GO SEE THE HOLIDAY DECORATED WEBSITE OF MINE AT: ARTIMATIONSDESIGNCOMP.COM* http://www.artimationsdesigncomp.com/ J.M.Piper©2010, All Rights Reserved

Beautiful work! The Christmastree is stunning! Sorry to hear about your mom ...

Artist Reply: *Hi Anne! Yeah thanks, really miss her at this time of year...I have no family at all left...I'm the last one in my entire family name, so it will disappear when I go...never had children so no one to keep my name alive....probably better this way, lol Anyway thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the work! I have probably 6 or 8 more new ones before christmas I'll do, so well keep an eye out! Thanks again for that Anne! Take care and have a great weekend!

I can just see going over the hill and thru the woods to get there! Mypic of the day!

Artist Reply: *Hi Emily! Aww thanks so much for that! Yep, here it is... "Over the river and through the woods, to grandmothers house we go The horse knows the way, to carry the sleigh, in white and drifterous snow. It Stings the toes, and bites the nose, as over the ground we trode!" Thanks again Emily!

Artist Reply: *Hi Ruth...thanks so much for that and I must say I am sorry for your loss also...it's never a good thing when you lose your parents or in my case just my mom (my father is not part of my life because he's a, well let's just call him an ass lol) So thanks for the comment and yeah, I know I got pretty heavy in that artwork story, but I always speak my mind and that will never change. Anyway thanks again! Take care and I hope you have a great holiday season!
