Eagle Soars on Sierras High

On a smooth hot-press white 32"X40" matt I had to hezAt the paper with a block of hard Ash wood to open the fibers of the paper to accept the minerals. The Sky is from Azurite and taking several mineral colors in a pile ,and with a silk cloth(which will pick up minerals but release them with only a small amount of movement), and a length of string I swung the silk cloth with its colors in a arch the length of the string. This blended the mix of rainbow colors into the particles of Azurite, giving you a truely natural illusion of a rainbow. The mountains done in their natural Limonite Burnt Umber was a given, and the greens of a mix of mica n Malachite gave us foliage of hidden Indian writing.
