I previously posted a compact digital capture of this scene. Now, in promotion of my book "The Japan Alps" on Blurb.com, I am posting the scan of the 4x5 inch transparency. This moment was captured near the summit of Jiigatake in the Kita (North) Alps of Japan. I used Velvia 50 sheet film for my Tachihara 4x5 Technical Field camera. It was captured on a November morning in 2007.
