Da Vinci Rendition - Mona Lisa

4 x 6 inches, watercolor, December 2007 I was feeling a bit tired and uninspired today but needed to paint...so took the lazy option and did a Masters Challenge for my ebay group Wnw. It has that weird background that seems to be on different levels and her smile is quite hard to capture. I still like the idea it was Leonardo in drag smiling to himself at the joke. Anyway, here is my effort...

Wow that is amazing... most impressed with the front of her dress... the fold in the cloth. The face is so excellent.
