The view from behind the Church of Bom Jesus dos Martírios, unveils a most beautiful scene of Maceio. From far we can see the State Governors Palace at Floriano Peixoto Square. Steeples, covered with crocks, lend a special touch to the monumental building from 1880. The ancients say that the Governors Palace was placed in front of the church so that it could receive blessings from heaven. The picture measures 70cm wide and 66cm high.
