outstanding work, Martin!

Artist Reply: I used to be concerned with dispelling the myth of the 'crazy artist'. I'm pretty happy with where this piece ended up, although looking at it myself I was not riding the fence as much...as I hoped. I think that is why eventually I will destroy not work, but records of what I made. Let you people decide between yourselves what is good and what is bad. At least I think I learned an understanding about what I would like to see 'in art'. In a way it is a private endeavor. I don't know anything that you do or don't know. I suppose that is why artists are 'cool'. I'm defenitely not an artist. I'm just another human that skipped dinner to play with color. And I'm not really sure what I found, and I'm not really sure I care what I found. I found absolution, but absense. I found even further divides between what I expected to find. Does that make any sense at all? It better not. They don't like that sort of thing. I'm OK with 'them'. But they don't like this writting at all. Eventually it will be removed. So, the choice is to remove yourself, or be removed. That's what I really learned.
