Hi Charles and Joanie. Our provincial bird is the Loon. You do not see it in the city, but if you spend your time by a lake in cottage country, you will hear and see it. It has a beautiful voice it has 4 calls including a yodel and a hoot. It is a symbol of solitudeband wilderness! For sure, not a city bird! LOL
Nice shot of the robin, Laura. Our state bird is the mockingbird. That somehow seems appropriate for Texas these days. Hope you are doing well. :)
Artist Reply: HI CHARLES! THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT! I SEEM TO POST A SEPARATE REPLY AS OPPOSED TO A DIRECT REPLY TO THE ARTIST! LOL Hope you have a great holiday season!:)
Hi Joanie. I looked it up and the American Robin can be found as far North as Alaska, throughut Canada and North America all the way to the gulf of Mexico! This is one busy bird! LOL
Artist Reply: Hi Charles! Thanks for your support! Sometimes I make the error of making a post to reply rather than replying to the person who made to the post! LOL
LOL Is this really your state bird? That is wonderful! I live in Toronto. I wonder if the species has its origin here or is a new transplant. They are everywhere in the park today eating worms! Thanks again for your support! I'm grateful for your kind comments!:)
