This Gibson Les Paul Custom guitar was presented to Paul McCartney by Les Paul himself during a 1988 photo-op in New York & has been called a Les Paul Custom Lite. Some Gibson instruments are highly collectible (Gibson Les Paul among others) & they sell guitars under a variety of brand names.
