After crossing Meadow Creek, the trail begins a gentle, but steady climb up and around Paul Peak. The trees aren't as big, but there are lots of them. The lush underbrush changes to patches of Lasal and Oregon Grape...(having fun yet, Jerry??) The trail became more earthy and soft and the air was moist as the temperatures of the day began to rise. Here you will find mushrooms galore in the fall!!
