oil on canvas 16 x 20"/41 x 51cm This is a close -up of the inside of a red onion which has just started to sprout and to reach for the light. Because of the metaphysical properties of onions they aid women who have suffered from sexual abuse, domestic violence. They help ease emergence of repressed emotions in psychotherapy and help with emotional liberation and letting go.
