Hiatus - the Lazy

Hiatus, the Lazy was aptly named due to his residing on my Work In Progress page on my web site for an extended period of time. Another chalk and charcoal drawing in attempts to loosen up a bit and work faster. The reference was mostly from memory, having done quite a few large cats in the past.

Love this work, Ken.. I can feel your love for lions, viewing your portfolio.. Being a LEO, I very much enjoy this.. I always adored lions paintings or drawing, perhaps because I'm a leo... Though.. I think I made only one artwork of lions..

Artist Reply: Thank you, Nira! I do love the large cats, and have a charcoal piece of a cougar upcoming. With your skill apparent in all you attempt, I'm sure any lion you did would be as amazing as the rest of your work. BTW, I'm a Leo, too. =) Thanks again!
