Artist Comments: "This painting is a result of a wonderful moment in time when, as I watched the turbulent surf, the sun broke through a stormy sky and spotlighted an ocean wave just as it crested and broke into a spillover. I reached for my camera and waited for the next occurance so I could record it forever, but it did not happen like that again! Later in my studio, I painted the memory of that exciting scene."
